MyFaith.com is designed to be a place where Christians
from around the world can easily locate and enjoy wonderful
Christian content and resources from hundreds of ministries for
spiritual growth and ministry effectiveness.
BRIEF HISTORY:
The web ministry was begun in early 1999 as "Gospel.com"
and became MyFaith.com in early 2003 (when Gospel Communications
purchased Gospel.com).
As of January, 2004, MyFaith.com and associated sites are now under
new ownership, though our original web manager is continuing to
serve.
Since '99, we've
continued to add new content and new "mini-sites" focusing on
particular Christian topics. Mini-sites now featured as part
of (or in conjunction with) MyFaith.com can be found on this link
(http://www.myfaith.com/minisites.htm):

Not long ago,
Pastor Rick Warren of Saddleback Church and best-selling author of
The Purpose-Driven Church, in a conversation with another
well-known Christian leader (read
here), said in many words that he believed
the internet and internet "cell churches" should play an
important part in the discipleship of the present and future
generations.
Christian researcher, George Barna, has found that the percentage of
Christians and non-Christians alike who receive "spiritual food"
through various Christian media sources (including radio, TV, and
the Internet) far outnumbers the
percentage of church attenders in America.
Many other surveys have shown that over 50% of the US population
regularly seeks out religious information on the Internet, and
certainly that number will continue to grow!

Yes, we
encourage you to find sites you think should be on
myfaith.com, and send them to us (telling us where you think
they should go). You may even consider developing your
own "mini-site" similar to the ones we have made (though we
would only link to it if we considered it better in some way
than what we have already provided). Please understand,
though, that we are presently understaffed and it may take a
while for us to process your suggestions. (But we will save
it to a file that will be checked on a regular basis). Also,
we will only link to a limited number of sites. Having said
that, please do find useful discipleship resources
and send us the links! Our goal is to find all of the
very best of the Christian web so we can make it quickly and
freely available to ALL disciples of Christ at ALL times and
ALL places!
