My Faith

My Walk with the Lord Basically, I am a transplanted Redneck Chick from the Deep South. I spent a portion of my childhood in the piney woods of Florida, fishing, hunting, swimming in the cool, blue-green springs (yes with alligators) and roaming barefoot beneath the oak jacks and pines. Now I am a farm wife and mother living far from those whispering pines. But I recall my childhood in the Florida backwoods with fondness. I am a Sunday school teacher. I teach because it is a blessing to see the light of understanding sparkle within the eyes of the children. I am also a church musician. And I sing gospel songs that glorify my Lord Jesus Christ. I love to garden and landscape our large yard. We began with nothing. We now have a home, which we built with our own hands. I thank God for giving us the ability and strength to pioneer a home from a muddy soybean field. It has not been an easy task, but God walks with us through each step of the way.
