A note from the MyFaith.com manager:
As with the founder of MyFaith.com, I have also been profoundly influenced by KP Yohannan's books
and by Gospel For Asia. In fact, KP's book "the Revolution in
world Missions" has probably had as powerful of an impact on my life as
any book besides the Bible. You are heartily encouraged to read both
this life-changing audio "Road to Reality," and the free book "The
Revolution in World Missions." IF YOU ONLY HAVE TIME TO READ 5
BOOKS IN YOUR ENTIRE LIFE, THEN ONE OF THESE 2 BOOKS SHOULD PROBABLY BE ONE OF
THEM!
A word from the MyFaith.com
founder:
Though we
at MyFaith.com wholeheartedly endorse this book, it would be dishonest
to seem to indicate that we "live up to it" - because we
don't. I first read Road To Reality nearly ten years ago,
and still consider it the most life-changing book, outside of the Bible,
that I have ever read.
After reading Road To Reality, I determined that no matter what,
I would do my best to make every day of my life count for eternity and
that I would use as much as possible of the resources God would ever entrust me
with - to serve Him and advance His Kingdom. In fact, the
teachings in this book were very instrumental in creating our desire to begin MyFaith.com.
Yet, in all honesty, my life does not measure up to the call of
commitment that the author not only lives out daily himself, but which
he calls all Christians to: that is, to deny oneself, take up our cross
daily, and follow Christ.
As you listen, you'll understand better what I'm talking about.
These teachings are not strange or unbiblical. Quite to the
contrary. But they are radical!
Among many other excellent principles taught in the book, the author
calls upon Christians everywhere to live as frugally as
possible in order to spend as much as possible to further
Christ's Kingdom. He does not say it is "sinful" to buy
things, but describes the serious problem with the priorities of most
Christians.
My family and I still live in a fairly nice home, drive nice cars, have
nice home furnishings, and spend money on vacations and other luxuries
(from the income of our real estate business - and, unfortunately,
debt). We have chosen to
spend large portions of our time and income on ministry
projects such as MyFaith.com. But we certainly do not measure up to
the level of sacrifice K.P. and others have made in order to literally
give their lives for the sake of the Gospel.
While we would not want to minimize the author's biblically-based
teachings, if they can serve to draw you and your family just one
step closer to Christ and to having Kingdom priorities, then they will
have accomplished their mission as far as we are concerned.
On this earth today, I personally do not know of a man more committed to
the will of God and more concerned for the "lost" than this
author. You and I may never achieve the level of spiritual
commitment that he has by God's grace, but if we can learn from
him how to live our lives perhaps even 10% more determined to follow
after Christ - then these audios are definitely worth listening
to. And I hope you'll be sure to return here until you've listened all the way through. If you do, you
will never be the same!
[One final note: In one of the
recordings you will hear a few statements regarding Jesus' ability to
heal. While we certainly agree that God's power is available to
heal, we respectfully disagree with the teaching that we as believers
have the ability to "claim" our healing. It is our
belief that in many cases, it is not the will of God to heal; and
that oftentimes, the reality is that sickness does lead to death - even
for those in the very center of God's will. We are especially
concerned about this teaching because it could cause Christians to leave
illnesses untreated (and DIE, as many have), or could "set a
Christian up" for serious disappointment when God "lets them
down" by not providing the healing they falsely believed they were
entitled to. For more information, please visit FalseTeachings.com.]
Having made that minor clarification, if you miss out on listening to
this powerful book, you may live to regret it - in eternity :)
You
may never hear a clearer, more practical explanation of how to "get
over" this passing world and prepare for the Judgment Seat of
Christ - where you will receive your eternal rewards!
May God bless you and use you mightily to reach many with the
life-saving message of Jesus Christ!

Foreword
to ROAD TO REALITY
by Erwin Lutzer, Author
& Pastor of Moody Church
Every once in a
while God gives to His people a man who is qualified to cut us open,
give us a diagnosis and prescribe a remedy for our healing. K.P.
Yohannan is such a man.
This book is not about missions, although the author's heartbeat for the
evangelization of the world pulses on every page. This is a book
about spiritual reality; about what it means to be a follower of
Christ in the twentieth century [how much more so now!].
It's a book about the spiritual condition of the Western church in light
of the awesome needs in other parts of the world.
You will quickly discover that K.P. is a man of deep passion. He
fervently loves the believers in the United States and Canada but is
grieved over the spiritual insensitivity of the church at large.
With tears he admonishes us to leave our fascination with material
prosperity and the enjoyment of personal pleasures to turn to Christ
with all our heart. That, after all, is the path of true happiness
and fulfillment. K.P. calls it reality.
Here is a book that cuts through the welter of pseudo remedies for
spiritual renewal and returns to the basics. The author is
impatient with intellectual knowledge unless it translates into holy
living and a singleminded determination to see the church around the
world grow for the glory of God. And he practices what he
preaches.
Every believer who is concerned about the spiritual life of the church
in America ought to read this book. You may find, as I did, that
at times his analysis made me feel defensive and uncomfortable, but in
the end I knew he was right.
This book has the power to change anyone who is weary of half-hearted
Christianity and is unafraid to take some giant steps with God.
Through these pages K.P. will come into your room, sit down and share
his heart. If you listen carefully, you will leave with
"eternity stamped on your heart."
